Aeris launches Neo Affiliate Program for IoT ecosystem partners

Technology and service provider Aeris has launched the Neo Affiliate Program this week, enabling Internet of Things...

(IoT) ecosystem partners to integrate the company's Neo platform into their products and sales processes.

Through the program, participating IoT ecosystem partners will receive a revenue share for each customer they sign up for the service. Additionally, the program provides data associated with customer usage, such as amount of data consumed and traffic patterns, in monthly reports, said Andy Greig, vice president of North American sales at Aeris. "We provide the data, and we do [make] the data [anonymous] so we don't violate any privacy issues for the individual using it," he said.

Ingram Micro unveils the U.S. Advanced Solution organization

Distributor Ingram Micro Inc. has launched U.S. Advanced Solutions, an organization that brings together the company's go-to-market teams to support advanced computing and technology.

Led by Senior Vice President Tim Ament, the organization provides channel partners with professional services, training, pre- and post-sales support and specialized products. The organization's offerings aim to help partners address technology categories that include audio-visual, data center, data-capture/point-of-sale, digital signage, peripherals, physical security and unified communications.

Ament will oversee the teams that support the Promark General Services Administration schedule and Ingram Micro's Professional and Training Services.

Nexenta signs deal with Synnex

Software-defined storage (SDS) vendor Nexenta has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with distributor Synnex Corp. The agreement allows Synnex's North American solution providers to access Nexenta's SDS products.

New app allows Extreme Networks partners to close deals on the fly

To accelerate the sales process for its partners, networking vendor Extreme Networks Inc. has released PartnerLink, a new mobile app. According to the vendor, authorized partners can use the PartnerLink app to register sales opportunities on the go. The app also provides partners with access to key sales and marketing content as well as information about Extreme Networks products, programs and promotions. Regional content is also provided, based on the users' geographical market.
